About Me – Wildlife Photography Expert

Hi! I’m Josh and I’m the founder of Wildlife Photography Travel.
My Main Goal: Help you take incredible photos of animals around the world.
Long story short, I went to university for 6 months, hated it and dropped out to travel full-time. I started a travel blog and began making enough money to continue to travel and I was fortunate enough to call it my job for a few years.
Along the way, I fell in love with photography, and as someone who has always been interested in animals, the two went hand in hand and I fell in love with wildlife photography.
Fast forward to today where I’ve managed to get pretty good at the craft and have photographed animals in 4 different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and North America), I’ve started this blog to help other photographers learn how to take photos like me.
I’m on a mission to capture 1000 different mammals on my camera, and so far, I’ve managed to get 41. To be honest, it’s probably higher than this, but this is the number I have photos which I am happy with. All of these are completely wild and in their natural habitat.
Whether you want to learn how to take a decent photo for your upcoming safari trip or perfect your editing skills for a day photographing at your local woods, I’m the guy to help you out.
Oh and by the way, every photo on my site was taken by me, so you can see first-hand the skills I have acquired over the years and aim to pass on to you reading my tips 🙂

Important: I have only included animals I have photographed in the wild. I try my best not to feature photos I have taken in zoos, farms or safari parks on my site, as I prefer photographing animals in their natural habitats. That being said, my photos of pandas, polar bears and tigers from zoos are some of my all-time favourites.
